Just received the news from Organizing Committee of the mai Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin, the representative team of Business School Graduate, which consists of Liu Zhenjie, Gu Liang, Xiang Xuyong, Chen Ting, advanced to the round of 16, the semi-finals. And they will take part in the competition in Bangkok, Thailand from Feb. 25 to March 2, 2009. There are 64 representative teams from 23 countries and regions in the world participated in this business challenge contest.
The mai Bangkok Business Challenge @ Sasin are initiated and organized by the well-known university Chulalongkorn Palace, Thailand. Since 2002, many of graduates from the world's leading business schools take part in this international contest. It is the first time for Business School of Shantou University to participate in the competition in 2009. Under the great support by the leaders of Business School, Graduate Education Project Office and Professor Wang Wei, Professor Nasim Z. Hosein, they advanced to the semi-finals smoothly.
There are 16 universities in the semi-final. The representative team of Tsinghua University, China has also successfully advanced. As the only two universities in the round of 16 in the competition, team members said they would go all out to win glory for their school.
