On April 11th, Shantou University 2010 MBA Re-examination was conducted in the Business School Seminar Room on the second floor of the Liberal Arts Building.
The MBA Re-examination is an important part of selecting candidates. It consists of a written test on Political Theory, a Comprehensive Quality Evaluation and an oral English interview. The main content for Political Theory section was based on the Government Work Report published on the 11th National People's Congress Third Session. The Comprehensive Quality Evaluation was divided into free group discussion and an individual interview. It examined candidates from various aspects according to the principle of selecting the best examinees.
MBA Education Center selected a strong team of judges. Professor Xu Zongling, Dean of Business School, presided over the examination. The 16-examiner team included Miss Xie Yanqiong, Director and Vice General-manager of Shantou Port Group; Dr. Zhang Chuanming, Deputy Chief Economist of Shantou Electricity Board and President of Shantou Wanfeng Thermo Electron Corporation; and Professors Lin Danming, Wang Jianhua, Ouyang Feng, Huang Yan, and Yao Hongxin.
The candidates prepared and performed well during the re-examination. Many candidates had extensive work experience, excellent comprehensive quality, and a strong desire for knowledge which resulted in high scores and unanimous acclaim from the examiners.
This re-examination was conducted by MBA Education Center and focused on selecting outstanding MBA students. Based on the idea of service, it provided a good test environment for the candidates. The whole process was open, fair and just. We believe under the leadership of the University and through the joint efforts of faculty and students, MBA Education will become a brand project of Shantou University that will be able to train high-level business management personnel to boost local socio-economic development.
