Business-School Professor Participated in Economic Theory Seminar on China's Reform and Opening-up 30 Years
During 23rd-25th October, the dean of Business School Prof. Xu Zongling was invited to attend the Economic Theory Seminar on China's Reform and Opening-up 30 Years, which was co-hosted by Economic and Financial Research Institute of CUHK, Sun Yefang Economic Science Foundation, the main field of China Study of CUHK and Service Center for China Study of CUHK. This seminar was also to celebrate the centennial of Sun Yefang's birth.
The representatives in the meeting consisted of the older generation of Chinese economists who had gone through before and after the reform and opening-up, Sun Yefang economic science prize winners, up-and-comers in economics from mainland universities, internationally renowned Chinese economy Academics, the Hong Kong economists who closely concerned about the dynamics inside and outside of mainland. All people got together in the meeting room, looked back and discussed China's Reform and Opening-up 30 years.
