From March 15th to 18th, students and teachers from Open University of Hong Kong visited STU for short term exchange. On March 15th, students from OUHK arrived at STU. Business School held a welcome party to greet the visiting group. Prof. Lu Yuan, Dean of Business School, Prof. Dennis Lee from Department of Business Administration and student buddies participated in welcome dinner. Students from both sides were in the midst of a lively discussion which created various sparks.
On March 16th, students from OUHK visited the STU library. Prof. Dennis Lee delievered a lecture with the topic of "Doing Business in China" and discussed with the students on the distinctions of business background between Hongkong and mainland China.
On 17th, the group visited BanBao and Junpu Taobao village to get to know Business in Chaoshan area. After the corperate visit, they also join the STU Touch Rugby Team and experienced captain's ball with students from STU. Prof. Dennis Lee (who is also couch of the touch rugby team) invited the OUHK group to explore the charm of touch rugby. All students were excited and had become more and more enthusiastic about it.
On 18th, the visit of Open University of Hong Kong came to an end. They took part in the Chaozhou Culture Tour with the student buddies of STUBS before they traveled back to Hong Kong.
