GMC Team of Business School Moved Forward to the Semi-finals
According to 2008 GMC groups score table of Chinese division, informed by the organizing committee of GMC, Business School of STU ranked 14th in all 73 contesting universities until December 8, 2008, representative teams of the Business School will continue to take part in the semi-finals.
The representative teams of Business School consisted of graduate and undergraduate students, which won great support from leaders of Business School and Su Junzhi, head of the CYL branch. Under the guidance of associate professor Zeng Fanqi, the representative teams achieved a lot of good results.
9 out of 14 teams, with a rate of 64%, passed the first round contest. According to the second round results released on the December 8, 2008, "New Star" Team was the 1st in its group, " Sang Pu " and "very 1+4", "V & V" respectively ranked 3rd ,4th ,5th in their own groups. At this point, Business School team secured a place in the semi-finals.
There are 225 teams from 51 universities divided into 32 groups entering in the second round. Then only 64 teams from 27 universities won the semi-final qualification. Business School of STU is one of the 27 universities. Members of the representative team say that they will spare no effort to create better results.
