On June 22-23, 2023, Professor Xia Jun from the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas was invited to our School for academic exchange activities. On the afternoon of June 22, the 11th session of the Academic Lecture Series organized by the School of Business and Chaoshang Innovation and Entrepreneurship Research Center was successfully held in Seminar Room 203-2. Professor Xia Jun delivered a special presentation titled “Theory-Driven Management Research” The lecture was chaired by Professor Liang Qiang, Dean of the School of Business, and was attended by faculty members and graduate students, including Guo Gongxing, Lin Quan, Chen Mingqin, Cai Chuangneng, Yang Sainan, and others.
On the morning of June 23rd, the paper sharing and critique symposium took place smoothly in Seminar Room 203-2. The event was hosted by Associate Professor Guo Gongxing, Vice Dean of the School of Business, and was attended by teachers and graduate students, including Chen Mingqin and Cai Chuangneng. Professor Xia Jun, drawing from his own experiences in research and publishing articles in top-tier journals, provided valuable feedback and targeted improvement suggestions for the related research papers. During this exchange, there was a rich interaction between the faculty and students, creating an enthusiastic atmosphere. Professor Xia Jun patiently answered questions from the participants, greatly benefiting and enlightening those in attendance.
