The Research Institute for Global Chaoshang Entrepreneurship at Shantou University organized its faculty and students to participate in various academic conferences during the summer. They won the Outstanding Conference Paper Award at the 2023 China Academic Conference on Technological Innovation and Entrepreneurship, which was held in Hangzhou from August 23 to 25, 2023.
Huang Xi, a graduate student from the School of Business, and Xu Yuanrui, an assistant researcher at the Institute, co-authored the paper "Family Governance, Party Building, and Tax Incentive Behavior: A Study of Listed Family Enterprises in China" under the guidance of Professor Liang Qiang, Dean of the School of Business and Director of the Institute. The paper was selected as an outstanding conference paper. After presenting their paper at the conference, the expert reviewers highly praised its novelty and provided suggestions for improvement.
It is reported that a total of 134 papers from 70 universities, including Tongji University, Jilin University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, and East China Normal University, were submitted to the conference. After evaluation by 12 sub-forums, 21 outstanding conference papers were selected.
