On the morning of September 6th, 2023, the School of Business held its fall semester faculty meeting in the Academic Seminar Room on the third floor of Wen Nan Building. The school's leadership team and all faculty members attended the meeting, which was chaired by Deputy Secretary Su Bingtian.
Dean Liang Qiang first presented a special report on the school's disciplinary construction and the follow-up visit after BGA accreditation. He detailed the important scientific research projects and platform construction achievements of the School in 2023, as well as the development of the School's degree program construction, BGA international accreditation, MBA, and EE education. He also emphasized key deployments in the new round of degree program applications and BGA international accreditation follow-up visits.
Next, Party (CPC) Secretary Zou Zhibo presented a report on the School's undergraduate enrollment and employment work for 2023.
During the intermission, the School's leadership team presented service contribution commemorative certificates to faculty members who have served in the School for over ten, twenty, and thirty years, thanking them for their important contributions to the School's reform and development. On the occasion of the 39th Teachers' Day, they also extended holiday greetings to all faculty and staff.
Subsequently, Vice Dean Guo Gongxing presented a report on academic-oriented graduate education.
Finally, Vice Dean Long Yue'e presented a summary of undergraduate teaching work for the 2022-2023 academic year.
This faculty meeting laid a solid foundation for the smooth development of work in the new semester. All faculty members will unite and strive to create a new situation for the School's work and promote high-quality development of education.
