On July 11th, representatives from the School of Economics at Shenzhen Polytechnic visited the School of Business for a collaborative discussion. The meeting was chaired by Zou Zhibo Party (CPC) Secretary of School of Business STU and attended by Vice Secretary Su Bingtian, Vice Professor Wen Riguang (Head of the Department of Accounting and Finance), Associate Professor Chen Wenchuan (Department of Accounting and Finance), and Dr. Hu Zhigao, Dr. Zhao Huilin, and Dr. Lin Junqin from the Department of Applied Economics.
Secretary Zou Zhibo extended a warm welcome to the delegation from Shenzhen Polytechnic, providing a comprehensive overview of the School's development trajectory, vision, disciplinary strengths, talent cultivation strategies, faculty expertise, and achievements in platform construction. Subsequently, Dean Wang Ying from Shenzhen Polytechnic's School of Economics introduced their institution's key features and initiatives.
The ensuing dialogue witnessed an in-depth exchange of perspectives on several key areas, including the development of practical training platforms, curriculum design for finance and accounting programs, student internships and employment opportunities, and the implementation of the "Shuyuan" system (academy-style education). This meeting served to strengthen the understanding and collaboration, paving the way for future partnerships in faculty exchanges, discipline development, and joint research endeavors.
