From Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, 2009, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship (XIME) India hosted a "new moment" international seminar on management education. Representatives from 11 Business Schools of Brazil, Russia, India , China and South Africa presented the conferences. Professor Lin Danming, Business School of STU was also invited to attend the meeting and delivered a keynote speech of "China Business and Management Education Curriculum Reform" at the meeting. After full discussion, delegates initiated founding Business School association of emerging economies, it names by the first letter of English name of the five attending countries (Association of BRICS Business Schools, ABBS). Business School of Shantou University became a founding member.
During the meeting, Professor Lin carried out an in-depth exchange with other participants and reached a number of cooperation intentions. After that, Delegates also visited the Global Training Center of Infosys, the well-known multinational company in India, which bases in the historic city, Mysore and is the world's largest corporate training base, training the staff of 8000 at the same time.
