From January 7 to 10, 2009, graduate Chen Huanyong attended "The Fifth Graduate Seminar on China", which was co-hosted by the Chinese University of Hong Kong Service Center for China Studies (USC) and the Asia-Pacific Sinology Center. There were nearly 60 doctors and postgraduate attended the meeting and some well-known scholars made keynote speeches.
USC and the Asia-Pacific Sinology Center held “Seminar on China” every spring in this University. It enables the contemporary Chinese scholars to publish papers and do researches. Moreover, it provides assistances to participants engaged in literature research in the center before and after the session. Seminars aimed at promoting the study of contemporary China, Chinese and foreign young scholars to get acquainted and communicate with each other, upgrading the ability of Chinese PhD students and expand their field of vision.
