In the morning of September 5th, 2022, the opening ceremony of the "2022 comprehensive quality improvement training course for cadres of workers’ federation system in Maoming" was held in the lecture hall of Shantou University Library, which was organized by MBA Education Center of Business School Shantou University.Hong Yu, Standing Committee Member of the Party Committee and Vice President of Shantou University, Huang Yiyi, Deputy Director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Maoming City, Secretary of the Party Group and Chairman of the General Workers’ Federation, and Chairmen of Workers’ Federation of all districts and counties in Maoming City attended theopening ceremony. The opening ceremony was hosted by Qiang Liang, Vice Dean of Business School Shantou University.
Speech by Vice President Hong Yu
Vice President Hong Yu delivered a welcome speech on behalf of the university. Vice President HongYuintroduced the development of the university to the participants, and said that the work of the workers’ federation system plays an important role in the general situation of the work of the Party and the State, and paid tribute to all the participants who struggle in their positions in the workers’ federation system; and as the organizer, the course content of this training is carefully designed, rooted in the inheritance of Chaoshang civilization and wisdom in Guangdong East, focusing on the global cultivation of management talents with global vision, and striving to let the participants to have an international perspective, assume social responsibility, and integrate the management way. Finally, we hope to build a platform for mutual learning and exchange through this training, and expect to continue to strengthen cooperation in the future, so that we can interpret responsibility in the new journey of the new era with a high attitude of struggle, and shoulder the responsibilities and missions of the times with excellent officer skills.

Then, on behalf of Maoming City Workers’ Federation, President Huang Yiyi expressed his gratitude to Shantou University for its strong support to this training course and put forward three expectations for this course. This training course is customized according to the teaching needs of Maoming City Workers’ Federation.
