On 29th Nov. 2008, the 22nd STU Sports Meeting started. It is a great platform for teachers and students to show teamwork spirits, to promote friendship and struggle for victory. Business School representative team finally won 36 medals, and gained the second place with a group aggregate score of 206 after rounds of fiercely competition of one day and a half.
In the sports meeting, teachers and students vividly interpret the culture Business School "unity, innovation, progress, and vitality" through actual action. The Double TANG Kaiyin (champion of women’s javelin and shot put) and WU Chunsong (champion of men’s 1500 meters and 5000 meters), the champion of high jump WU Weizhong, up-and-comer WU Minzhu and CHEN Yuping, etc all gained honor for Business School. Cheering squad and student workers behind the scene consecutively won Sportsmanship Award for 11 times.
The sports meeting not only offer a good opportunity for the athletes to show their talent, but also enhanced the confidence and collective reputation of Business School students and developed the teamwork spirits between students.
