On the afternoon of November 26th, 2008, Professor HAI Wen, vice president of Peking University, and the dean of Peking University HSBC School of Business, has a meeting with the leaders and representatives of the teachers of Shantou University Business School in the meeting room. Professor XU Zongling, the dean of Shantou University, Professor CHEN Motian, the Secretary of Business School, Professor HUANG Yan, Professor DU Mian and other professors attended the meeting. Both sides introduced each School’s situation and the MBA Projects. Also they discussed the issues about the teaching and research.
At the beginning of the meeting, President HAI Wen watch the introducing film about Shantou University Business School. Dean XU Zonling introduced how Shantou University Business School developed. President HAI Wen expressed his appreciation for STU Business School’s rapid development and education philosophy. Then, President HAI Wen introduced the entrepreneurial history and development of Peking University HSBC School of Business. He gave a focus on how to operate the MBA School and EDP training for the executives. Also he answered some teachers’ questions relevant to how to apply a MBA project and the EDP trainings. At the end of meeting, under Dean XU Zonling’s warm invitation, President HAI Wen wrote the words -- "a brighter future to think, do down-to-earth manner"—as a gift to STU Business School, blessing STU Business School achieves greater development and progress.
