International Students Visit Chaozhou for Culture Exchange
Time : 2016-11-10
Reported by Cecilia Cai
On 2016 October 30
th
, the International Exchange Office of Business School organized a visit to Chaozhou for international students of Business School who come from Belarus, France and Lithuania, with the purpose of promoting culture communication and international cooperation. Prof. Sunanda Sangwan joined the program as the students’ instructor. Chinese students from Business School also participated in the journey as sutdent buddies.
For the international students, it was their first time to go to Chaozhou and to experience such a historical city of Chaoshan culture. In the tour, they visited Han Wengong Temple, Guangji Bridge, Memorial Arches Street and Kaiyuan Temple. Besides explored the ancient spots, they also tasted a lot of Chaoshan local snacks. Travelling is also one of the most feasible means for learning. Seeing is believing. Besides, they were capable of learning about the geography and history of the places they visited. There's always a lot more for students to learn by travelling.
