Dr. Zhao Quanwu Attended OCSAMSEIC
From July 4 to 5, 2008, the Overseas Chinese Scholars Association in Management Science and Engineering Inaugural Conference (OCSAMSEIC) was held in Antai School of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. A total of 180 scholars and experts, from Columbia University, Yale University, the University of California, the University of Michigan, New York University and Duke University as well as research institutions and domestic and foreign enterprises, presented this annual symposium. Dr. Zhao Quanwu of Business School, STU was also invited to participate in it.
On July 4th, Prof. Zhang Weiying (Deputy Director of the Department of Management Science, China National Natural Science Fund Committee), Yu Gang (President and Founder of New Height Corporation), Tony Xiao (Operating Officer of Yi Ya Tong Supply Chain Co., Ltd), and others and so on, respectively made speeches on the meeting. Dr. Zhao Quanwu, as Panel Speaker, together with the Chinese University of Hong Kong, Dr Ng Chi Hung, the Fudan University Professor Fan Xiucheng respectively delivered a special speech on product recalls and quality management. On July 5th, delegates were divided into 12 groups to go on group seminar in the North Building of Antai School.
OCSAMSEIC is an important platform for management science and engineering both in theory and practical field to make adequate exchange, mutual inspiration and mutual promotion as well as plays an important role to promote the development of international Chinese management science and engineering. And the participation of Dr. Zhao Quanwu in OCSAMSEIC had enhanced the reputation and influence for our Business School.
