The International Workshop on BOR/BOM, co-organized by the Faculties of Industrial Engineering & Mathematical Sciences of Tsinghua University, was held on 18th and 19th December. A number of renowned scholars from the US, France, Holland, and HKSAR were invited to give special reports to the some 200 attendees, comprised mostly of students and staffs from universities across the country.
Professor Bu Xiangzhi from STU Business School was invited to present his research report on ‘Study on Contract Pricing and Coordination of Marine Supply Chain under Shipper’s Loss Aversion’. During the 2-day workshop, attended scholars exchanged opinions and expressed prospects for the future development of BOR/BOM as well as methods by which international cooperative research can be established.
