Business School Held 8th Academic Seminar of 2011

The Business School's 8th Academic Seminar was held on 25nd April. Guest lecturer, Dr Li Jinming of Trans World University, Taiwan, gave his lecture on Strategies for Operating a Perennial Brand. Professor Wang Yi of Business School chaired the seminar.

Dr Li first briefly introduced the background and timeline of enterprise reconstruction. Unprecedented approches, according to him, are necessary in an unprecedented era. He then examplified and explained

some referencial lessons provided by various well-known brands, such as Coca Cola, to elaborate the embedded meanings of the intangible values of branding. Creative marketing, he concluded, are vital in sustaining a brand.
