On the morning of June 16, 2023, the 7th session of the 'Yangtze River Management Lecture Series' jointly organized by the School of Business at Shantou University and Changjiang Business School, was successfully held in the lecture hall. The lecture was hosted by Professor Liang Qiang, Dean of the School of Business at Shantou University and Director of the MBA Education Center. Distinguished guests in attendance included Professor Yan Aimin, Vice Dean of Changjiang Business School, Professor Xu Zongling, Chairman of the Shantou University Education Foundation and Professor at the School of Business, as well as Ms. Chen Jun, Deputy Director of the Department of International Affairs and Campus Development at Changjiang Business School.
At the beginning of the lecture, Professor Liang Qiang, the Dean of the School of Business Shantou University, extended a warm welcome to the distinguished keynote speakers, entrepreneurs, alumni, faculty, and students in attendance. He mentioned that the 'Yangtze River Management Lecture Series' aims to facilitate in-depth discussions on the changing trends in the business environment and cutting-edge knowledge. Together, they seek to explore how individuals and organizations can excel and achieve success and growth in a highly competitive business environment. The three distinguished experts from Changjiang Business School, serving as thinkers and leaders in the new era of business civilization during this transformative period, possess profound insights into the transformation and development of the global economy, as well as its trends and patterns. First, Professor Xiang Bing, the Founding Dean of Changjiang Business School, delivered a lecture titled "Common Prosperity and the Social Function of Management Education: Some Observations and Reflections."

Next, Professor Li Haitao, a Ph.D. in Finance from Yale University and a faculty member at Changjiang Business School, gave a presentation on the topic of "Transformation and Upgrading of China's Manufacturing Industry: Opportunities and Challenges."

Following that, Professor Zhou Chunsheng, a Ph.D. in Finance from Princeton University and a faculty member at Changjiang Business School, presented a report titled "The Underlying Logic of China's Economic Transition in Dynamic Momentum."

As the lecture concluded, entrepreneurs, alumni, faculty, and students in attendance enthusiastically posed questions and engaged in in-depth discussions and interactions with the experts. The atmosphere at the event was vibrant and lively.
